Soooo ---what kind of pressure shuld I use with a gravity gun ????

Assuming a Conventional gun (not HVLP) I would experiementing with 40-50psi

Isn't Gravity considered HVLP?

I run a Devilbiss FinishLine 3 (obsolete now) I am by no means a painter, but when I sprayed my car with PPG (I jambed three cars with Metallic paint)...I had 22psi at the gun. Having a regulator on the gun at the inlet is imperative...if you have it a regulator at the compressor you don't know for sure the loss you can incur because of the length on the air hose.

No, gravity can be either HVLP or Conventional. Depends on tip/air-cap/needle design.
