What are them long red plastic things in the kit?



Current MP distributors are fully adjustable (and made by Mallory) - no welding required. Those "Long Red Plastic things" are guages that you insert into the distributor so you can change the amount of mechanical advance (i.e. slot length) w/o taking the distributor apart.
