Take an old cam and cut (i did it with an anglegrinder with cutoff wheel) grooves on every bearing journal along the cam. this will make it cut the bearings. use some fine sandpaper to smooth the journals. install cam with oil and turn a few turns. I promise it will work.
This is all I do.... I cut a old cam for this purpose
