While I agree a shroud only helps with low speed cooling, once you hit 30mph or so the cooling is all air flow from moving, not from the fan.

Showing 200 on the gauge while on the highway is to be expected if you're running a 195 t-stat. Now if he was running a 180 t-stat and doing 200 on the highway, then I would say your cooling system does need some attention.

BobN, what temp rating of t-stat are you using?

And yes the redline water wetter does help, I've used it.
