Can I Hijack here ..

Im in need of info in the same area to..

I'm building the sbird and i have been trying to put something together that will work and yes i know the PG and box needs to be a stab in..

Here what i got

I have a GP for a console but it has the two bolt holes in it ( what app is it for )

Now the box i have is what i can find goes to 70-71 e-body BUT it looks to be a stab in handle ..is that right ? Thought by that point they where all bolt in handle..

I have a set of shifting rods from a 69 charger .. I know i will have to drill out the tabs to fit the rod .. we are not useing the lock out thing ...

We do not have a console in the car right now .. So do you think if i fit this all together will it work ? and will it shift with out the PG hitting the dash ?
