GOOD ONE!! I told my buddy one night, right after I had let up on a rear engine dragster at the stripe and he passed me to put me out, "NEVER LET UP ON A FASTER CAR"! SO,,,my buddy comes up against the same guy in the final round. I am standing at the fence very near the stripe. I watch the tree come down, my buddy seems to have a good lite as usual, the dragster never moves when his lights come down,.I can see what is going to happen!!! I'm waving my arms and giving him the "get out of it" sign. I can see him looking all around and in his mirror trying to find the nose of the dragster. SURE ENOUGH, he remembered what I told him.!!! He didn't lift...broke out by .005 as the dragster stuttered and stumbled accross the stripe a few minutes later!! Seems some one didn't take the rags out of the scoop on the dragster before the run. I will give him credit,,he listened to my advice after seeing what I did,,but it cost him the win. GOTTA' LOVE RACIN'!!
