thanks for the reply guys! I know this is a hobby, but some things I hate to do twice (like put a manifold on a small block while in the car!)
So here is a scenerio.
As I currently stated, I currently have the 1969 318 motor with the stock cam (approx .400 lift from what I have read)
the two barrel works, but it does leak and it's not running it's best.
What could I expect if I simply put on this sp2p manifold with an eddy 600 cfm carb (adjusted properly of course for elevation).
If I changed nothing else, and simply did this change, what would I see? Decrease in power? Would the carb be too much fuel and flood or cause detonation to blow up my motor? Would I pull the front tires off the ground when accelerating

Simple carb and intake swap, nothing else. What would I expect?
