One of my favorite movies. I work with a girl who spent several winters at station in Antarctica. She does not have a very high opinion of "The Thing". What do they do out there to so corrupt their minds??

Maybe she lived through a similar Thing happening and is trying to block it out?

And PS...I wonder what she would have to say about the PLF and jokes coming from such a place too ?
