You may be able to shim the motor mounts slightly to lift the engine enough for the center link to clear.
When I bought my 340 GTS years ago, the centerlink was dragging on the headers. Turned out to be the motor mounts were shot. Replaced them with new, and the center link cleared... 
I'm running a torker 2 with a holly 850 dp, but thats not the issue. I need more clearance back to front not up and down. The engine already sits 1/4" from the electric fan so the engine can't move.
