A/FX ??? HUH - back in the mid-70's - some of the ProStock guys wandered into Comp/Eliminator-- people like Carlton, Sox, and others - this was when the Chrysler race programs had died. NHRA did not like that a bit, as Carlton was ruling COMP - so NHRA decided that if you had one of those cars, they created a new couple of classes - A/FX - B/FX - etc. the same car but a lower index. That is the reason Carlton built the stretched Colt.
