Back to this picture again. (see below) I Just took a look at my June 1970 'Cuda without AC inner fender. My 'Cuda has sheetmetal dimples at the spots marked with PINK & BLACK arrows on this picture. I compared their locations to the holes on my Challenger, and the holes on my Challenger are definitely the ones marked with BLACK arrows.

(BLACK arrows 1 inch center to center, PINK arrows 13/16ths center to center)

My August 1969 Challenger does Not have sheetmetal dimples at the spots marked with PINK arrows. My June 1970 'Cuda has the sheetmetal dimples but they are not drilled. M46rats 1971 Challenger has them and they appear to be drilled. Does anyone know what would go there? M46rats car is an AC car, so it must be something small enough to fit underneath the watervalve bracket. (unless it mounts in the wheelwell on the other side of the inner fender?)
