Being able to use a cheap distributor, if a guy choses to, makes a big difference if you start adding up the costs. If you are buying a new damper anyway, it's $145 extra to add the magnets. A trigger is $120, a bracket is $145. So $420 + the distributor. A new MSD Probillet dist. is $440. So In this instance, it seems the crank trigger is the way to go.
