As far as other models, you're in a small minority wanting a two door vehicle.
Most of the vehicle buying public wants a four door these days, it's easier to load all the rug rats in.
They're not supposed to put child cars seats in the front seat and putting a baby in the back seat of a two door would be rough.

It's nothing more than transportation to those buyers.
