They are faster, handle better and get gas mileage that the old ones couldn’t even dream of.
They’re faster than most of the modified ones too other than some all out race ars.
They give you the looks of the originals in a modern car.[/b
[b]Got to be kidding! Painted plastic all around. No chrome, stainless, anodized trim, etc.
Only thing the same is side window profiles.

Are they a vintage classic? No, but they do everything better.

At least they’re not a sad mouth 72-74 in appearance. lol

I never said that they were identical, I said They give you the looks of the originals in a modern car.

Guess what as stated they're a modern version of a car that they quit building 50 years ago.
Car companies quit using chrome, stainless, anodized trim 30+ years ago.

Time to quit living in the 70's, the world moved on.
You probably still listen to nothing but 70's music too. laugh2
You've also got me wondering how long the ride was for you on that short bus.
That would explain a lot.

There's nothing wrong with the vintage stuff, but there's more than just that out there.

We've got cars from the 50's through 2010 and guess what?
The newer stuff are actually waaaay better cars.

If you don't like the newer stuff that's you prerogative, but it's you that are missing out.
They're really nice cars that are a blast to drive, which is something that people quit doing in the old stuff because all they worry about is investment value.

Yada Yada Yada: of course they're MUCH better wrt comfort, performance, etc.
That in it's self is no reason to compare them: different breeds all around.
They kept the name & certain "minor" features of the originals to Make Sales.
I'll never consider them "Muscle Cars", but rather Performance Cars.
The marketing aspects are the reasons.
