We found some stainless blanks, availability in 3 to 4 weeks. So I'm going to switch over to them because it seems the wait for titanium valves is indefinite. They will be more of a nail head than a tulip head so I'll give up a little bit of flow, but that will save some weight on the valve to help make up for the heavier material. Hopefully I'll have the car on the track this year.

So the big question mark now is, will Jeff run his 8.90s off the trailer? Or will it be a time consuming process where I will have a chance to get things together and win the bet?

Of course I want the free dinner from Jeff, nothing better than that in my book. Except seeing Jeff's car work flawlessly on the first outing. In that case all happily buy us both dinner.
