My son and I have found some crazy stuff over the years. Fuel cells that were drilled and they never cleaned out the tank and just shoved the foam in. Fuel pumps with the plastic in them from the fuel cells, regulators that we took apart before using them and found aluminum in them. And now with the alcohol in pump gas it’s creating issues. We both run alcohol and my regulator has never given me a problem. If his car sit for a month he has to pull the top off his regulator. I would take a quick look inside the regulator.
