Car forums tend to lean to the right, their political sections do as well and usually have no rules. The other side doesn't like no rules and no censorship...I'll leave it at that
Everything is affected by "politics". Everything, especially hobbies and activities which are not 100% PC.
Maybe you don't want to wade into the mud puddle, but you should be aware of what is going on, as it is going to affect you at some point. When all of a sudden you can't get tags for your old car, don't let it be a surprise.
