Did you actually disassemble the rear clutch? When the piston pops out of its bore and jams the clutch, a cursory look might not see it.



We did fully disassemble it. We found nothing that looked incorrect to us other than all the contamination.

Jim - it is a steel planetary and we inspected it all. No evidence that the material came from within the transmission. Need to get the converter opened up ASAP.
