I've never had issues with the O.E. stuff. When I built the racecar it was getting a crank trigger. I was just looking foe something to spin the rotor to the cap. I bought a 440 source clearance part that had no electronics for $25. Billet aluminum, polished, ball bearing, brass cap terminals. Diameter isn't bad either. I did have to clearance the edge of the cap to fit against this intake. Been running it for 10 years with MSD 7AL2. Flawless.
