i just painted a set of wheels with rustoleum "farm and implement" "massey-ferguson" gray spray bomb.
that stuff covered very well, and turned out way nicer than i could have imagined.
i might just spray an engine with that to try something completely different.
says on the can it is a "superior" [laugh2] formula that is "excellent" coverage, chip resistant, color retention, and "more" [whatever that means].
the wheels i painted were blasted and etch primed, but still had pits.
that stuff made most of the pits unnoticeable, except for the really large ones, but they will be covered with trim rings anyway.
it only took two medium coats to cover, and it flowed out great !
