Update: I am going to save it, I'll try and post more pictures for anyone interested. It was a fresh water system, so hoping it isn't in too bad of shape. Buddy first told me it was a 426 Hemi at first, which obviously I could tell immediately when I saw the engine that it wasn't, but I've never driven anywhere so fast in my life lol



Better hope it was properly winterized. Could have block cracks.

I had a 1965 426 wedge block magnafluxed that had freeze cracks on both sides and a casting flaw inside the crankcase area under the #4 cylinder that wasn't found when it was magnaflux puke whiney
It was supposed to be a virgin stock motor, it wasn't whiney
It had been bored +.060 over and had some taper needing another bore job so it ended up at 4.320 bore size which made piston choices a lot easier for the overhaul. up:
