Ghostery add-on in Google chrome on a PC works pretty well.

I haven't found anything quite as solid for a mobile app.

What cracks me up is all the locked and deleted threads back when people first started complaining about this garbage.
Sure sent a strong message back then. Maybe overly and unnecessarily so.
