I read somewhere no "Y" code meant the car was ordered for use by a dealership? That doesn't make sense to me as there is a code for dealer demonstrator. Anyone know the real story on the no "Y" code question?

for 1970 St. Louis broadcast sheets, it appears there are 3 OPTIONS for the "Y1_" SALES BANK SOLD CAR box in the upper right
if no contradictory Y-codes are present in the VEHICLE DELIVERY AND HANDLING section:

"blank" = a car ordered by a dealership for dealer inventory
"4" = Y14 = a car ordered at a dealership by a customer "expedited"
"6" = Y16 = a car spec'd by a Chrysler employee (to keep the plant's assembly lines moving)
