That is probably true. But I am seeing the '64-'65 quarters that AMD fire saled starting to show up at over $1,000 a side so someone must think there is a market.

Absolutely true. But I know you have seen this scenario over and over with parts. Seller posts a part with a ridiculous price. The community laughs that he won't be able to sell at that price. But the seller sticks with his price and after a while........the one person who is desperate for the part ponies up the money. This happens every month, on this forum and others.
