poorboy OP I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 10,668 Freeport IL USA	OK, I got my 49 truck together on a 90s something Dakota 4x4 chassis (came with the truck) and the front end sits low. No problem, Adjust the torsion bars up. I'm almost to the end of the adjustment, and the nose was up for about a week but now its settling back down. I'm thinking the chassis has the V6 torsion bars (or the bars in it are shot). I'm looking for a set of 2,000lbs V8 front torsion bars for a 88-96 Dakota (prefer new) but I'm not finding anything on line. Anyone got any sources? Even part numbers and bar dimensions may help.
