Me too, I always disconnect the Anderson plug while car is unattended.


I personally would be very cautious in not using the correct charger, for peace of mine, I would get what ever the manufacturer recommends. I am aware of 2 people who had battery fires, both occurred while battery was charging. Due to this, I never charge the batter, if I am not around to oversee.


Were both those battery fires with chargers not designated for those batteries?
