My neighbor had an issue with chipmunks making a nest in the flue of his gas fireplace.
Instead of sealing them out his wife wanted them relocated.
All summer long I would see him driving away and driving back 20 minutes later.

The funny thing he mentioned was one trip a squirrel was reluctant to leave the trap. He nudged it out where it proceeded
to hide on top of his tire.
He chased it out and bam a hawk swooped down and carried it away.
I find it rather comical as I have a large hickory tree and he has a medium sized one. The squirrels and chipmunks come from blocks away to feed.
During peak nut season the hawks take up temporary residence around our lots. We find piles of fur and headless rabbits throughout the fall.
