Yep, that was the plan (years ago) but the old one pulled out of a box on the farm worked perfectly for 7000 miles and hundreds of dragstrip passes. No need to change what was working.
Fortunately I have great friends and one of them upgraded to a smaller style and gave me his practically brand new unit. The new one had been sitting on the shelf for a couple of years.
