Andy,I am waiting for Tom to call me back.I am not sure if the 6 pinion fir without machining anything as it mat be a tad wider.
I could be wrong but I don't think the pressure angle on the splines for the diesel front planetary are the same as 1970 and older which would include push button trans. Doug
