The GM input shaft is shorter, but I don't remember by how much. The pilot is probably a different size but I'm not sure on that and of course the slip yoke will be different.. The GM trans also has some gear ratio differences. Google search info on the NV4500 and you should come up with a bunch of spec's and info on them.
