The shifter will work as long as it has the same hair pin setup as factory.

Putting an OD in is a little more involved with modifying the rods and transmission levers.

If you know how to weld it's easy, it's a bit of a pain though.

Are you putting an OD in a B body or putting the shifter in a truck with OD?
