it's easy to play with pressure if you have doubts. I don't use that much pressure.
no worries, I know how to change the pressure (as mentioned, bypass spring or lighter oil)... what I don't want to do is find out the hard way I lowered it too much! It is a big block (451 low deck). Occasional blasts up into the high 6000's. Mostly cruising, 3000 or less.
