I pre-buy 1000 gallons per year in mid summer when prices are low. I don't have to take delivery of all 1000 gallons at once, they come out on a regular schedule and keep it full. I usually don't use 1000 gallons, so I get credit for what I don't use
Wow... that must be a thousand bucks (or two) just to heat your shop! I used to live in Presque Isle, Maine and in Feb. the heating oil bill was more than the mortgage (small older house).
And worth every penny Doctor C.! This is Minnesota, but I definitely I don't do cold.
