Also, I may not be remembering it right, but....... I thought Brett started with a std port head....... and the port configuration he came up with was something that would have also required a heavily modified/custom intake manifold. He did not end up with a traditional MW type of port opening.
I don't remember what he started with, but the end result was, as you stated, not a "traditional MW type of port opening."
