I’ve never seen that before........ but one thing that’s interesting about it is...... the wear pattern doesn’t even go all the way to the edge of the lobe......... so I suspect there is hardly anything worn off the nose.
I’d look and see what the bottoms of the lifters looked like.
I recently removed a fairly small HFT from a SB where over 1/2 of the lifters weren’t turning, and the wear pattern on the bottom and flanks of the lobes was pretty much centered(suppposed to be to one side). I put it in the lathe and checked for lobe taper....... had a max of .0005” on some lobes....... most were less. Typical performance cam should be around .002”.
I’d send those pics to the cam grinder, see what they say.
