What electric fuel pump are you using and what size fuel filter micron rating size do they recommend to use between the tank and pump?

Why shouldn’t I use them between the fuel cell and fuel pump? All I see anymore is how there needs to be a filter pre and post pump.

I am currently using a Holley blue pump. I have never seen anything stating a micron rating for it.

The Summit 100 micron between the tank and pump will work just fine. I have that exact one before my Aerospace Components 400gph pump. Fuel pressure and volume don't fluctuate one bit.

I don't have one after the pump and have not seen a need for one.

Thanks, that is what I had read and been told was big micron filter before the pump and the smaller filter after the pump. If I run into issues i'll drop back and punt but for now I am sticking with what I have. I'm not out there looking to knock any ET or speed barriers down or build huge power. I never even ran a filter pre-pump with the old pump and the same cell, I ran a Fram paper filter one but I figured technology had changed in the 20 years since I had built the original plan at 25.
