The hose will support those filters if needed. I mounted my filter under the car on the right hand frame rail just forward of the passenger door leading edge. . I purchased some pre-bent brackets from the Home Depot (they have many shapes and sizes), bent them a tad to securely cradle my filter, and welded it to the frame rail. It would also be very easy to attach a hose clamp to the bracket that would secure the filter in place.
