We ran a set of the CNC heads and a Super Victor intake with nothing more than clean up CNC marks on the heads and match the intake on a 440 inch Ritter block. We used the Hughes rockers at first. They work fine under .700 lift and are affordable and the assembled heads come with valves and springs good to .650. The bore on ours was 4.185 so a piston had to be made but dome was no different than W5.Valves are at a different angle so check piston to valve clearance. You will also need to replace push rods.Valve covers are standard LA and we drilled our W2 headers to fit and they worked. It is worth the effort to swap to the Victor heads IMO because they are available, they don't leak water and they make good power.Brett Miller has a program and has worked on our heads. We had an intake made along with other changes to see how far we can take this combo, which BTW should be on the pump this week.
