There are certain things you cannot do without, even getting a lightweight battery, you still need a battery and it can be located in a more advantageous location. Putting the battery and the end of the vehicle is a bad choice. You want the weight of the vehicle centered and down low.

If you are going to relocate things, or can relocate them give thought to putting it and low down as you can and as close tot eh center as you can.
