Wow this is an old post....

I'd put 449Valiant's ICH motor up against anything 59* in a head to head dyno shootout. 770 On Rider's 902, is around 830 on "most" dyno's. There is little bit more in it as well with different carb & few other small changes I think as well. I doubt too many 59* block motors have ever made what that one does. Some of the Early Ritter/Weber Arrington head X block stuff might have been close, but they usually ran sub 400 inchers, that probably did'nt make quite as much. It's definitely one of most powerfull true 59's out there.
