As was posted, I did a "bracket" type port job which means it fit the customers budget and HP goals.
I also wrote that there is more in them, at more cost. Anyone who can cnc port them should also be able to clearance them better for the pushrod angle and should IMO include this into the cost of the porting until Edelbrock can fix this.
Doin that would eliminate a ton of hassle.

I prefer hand porting because you can port for the combo instead of one port size fits all kinda thing, but the masses think cnc is better...

As for Gbob's car...I think anyone who's been around drag racing enough should see that his 60ft (1.44 avg.) is leaving alot to be desired as far as E.T. is conscerned. But he's like me, gets to the track once in a while and doesn't like to work all day on the car so it takes time to sort a chassis out. Especially when it was a street car for so long.
And he still has not touched the timing (probably too low) or jetting (probably too rich).
