I owned a 440 6 BBL RoadRunner back in the day from early 1972 to 1997 and another one from 2004-2015 and always called them Six Pack RoadRunners regardless of the name on the hood. If you called it a six pack RoadRunner or a sixpack Bee, everyone knew it was a Plymouth or a Dodge respectively. The term "six pack" is just the common description for any Mopar with three 2's. It was never a debate back then for us old school owner's (and I know you are old school too). My recollection is that we mostly called them all six packs and I feel newer owners/collectors, who weren't hanging out at McD's looking for a street race or racing it at the track on the weekend only know them in the modern era by the name badge on the hood. A sixpack is a sixpack plus it sounds sexier than calling it a sixbbl. It's really not necessary to be politically correct about Plymouths and Dodges. stirthepot
