A Holley Street Dominator is a good intake (but single plane) that would fit under a flat hood. It's what I used on my 440 in my 67 Coronet
In my experience this intake kills torque on a 'warm' 383 with a slight cam, holley, and headers. So much that the car ran harder from a stop with the stock intake and 3.23's than with the SD and 3.91's.
