Don't want to high jack thread, but is the Indy dual plane mainly intended for stroker motors? I have one on a basically stock 440 with headers and a 4 speed. Got the intake real cheap so that's how I ended up with it.
I would say no. I run one on my 440/493 and I bought it from Dwayne Porter. And from what I remember its like the EZ heads which is that it comes in standard port size. But you can open them up to Max Wedge size by just porting them about 3/4 inch deep. I believe they are Max Wedge runners and are sized down at the port opening to standard port size about 3/4 inch deep. And thats why you only need to port them about 3/4 inch deep. Ron
