rtsinc, Have you considered an OD trans ? I know it is another hit in the wallet, but the revs with a 1/1 high gear will be 3000+ on the freeway and the noise might be be a little bothersome, along with poor gas mileage. Hughes has a lockup GM trans that will hold the torque. Not sure if they have the matching bellhousing for the Hemi, but if they do that is one stout trans.
