The capability of the heads is the main reason I did a Gen III to begin with. Dont mess with the older 5.7 heads, waste of money when if you keep your ear to the ground, Eagles, Apaches and 6.1's are ready for the stealing. 6.1's seem to be thrown to the side these days but if you find a good used set, you start with 2.08" hollow stem intakes and 1.62 hollow exhausts. [ Moparts Family Site - Keep it Friendly ] is not to like there?

Yes, after speed reading last night I see where the 5.7 heads are a waste of time based on those Eagle and Appache versions! I was toying with a Gen III project a few years ago when the Eagle was available cheap from Mopar and almost got a set then, but didn't pull the trigger due to too many other things going on...DOH!

How is reliability with hollow stem valves?
