Hoping some of you street race guys can chime in about setups for racing on true unprepped roads.

Not talking about roll racing, stop light racing, etc... True trans brake release 1/8 mile stuff.

I am going to be doing the Roadkill event on Woodward in 2 weeks.

I'm GUESSING that the boost controller needs to get turned down, two step RPM down as far as I can get it, and loosen the rear shocks up to match the new lower "hit" power.

How about down track? How do you guys know how much power to pour into it, and how fast you can pour it on?

Will the track simply take a g-force limit, and you try to tune the power to get near that through 1st gear?

Power taken out on the 1/2 shift to keep it from spinning the tires?

Unfortunately I race this thing on radials which is obviously not the best marginal track tire, but I at least did buy a brand new set of 275 Pro's for the event.

Love to hear from some of you guys... PM's ok if you want to keep quiet about it.
