We did have the engine on the dyno, but only pulled to 7000 (not sure why, I wasn't there) but it was still gaining when they stopped pulling.



We have an old manual engine dyno. The start and flywheel assembly we have for a small block dodge is ancient and it is scary to think of taking it over 7000rpm. LOL.

Also, if the number seem high, again it is a manual dyno, we do not accelerate the engine through a range, it is brought to an rpm, and held there. So it is brake HP, not accelerated HP. Hopefully this helps! It more gives us an idea of what it is going to do in the car, but more so check for issues, and do break in. It worked well on this one. LOL.
