I have been trying to get these 440source billet main caps to go back in the block and just can't seem to make them. I have tried everything I can think of. Called 440source to ask if it is normal and was told by whoever was on the phone to "touch the sides with a belt sander". If I do that, wouldn't I take the chance of getting the caps out of center with the crank? Do I need to take these to the machinist along with the thrust bearing cap? (I asked about that problem the other day.) What do you guys think?
