I remeber him getting into a hassle on his 1971 Hemi Challenger SS stick shift car using a T/A hood at the 1974 Winternationals, Mopar ended up writing a letter saying that they had ran out of the steel hoods with the (CRS the name of the open air cleaner scoop ) and they had not used up all of the 1970 T/A hoods so they put them on a small amount of 1971 hemi Challengers that had ordered the cold fresh air option hoods That car, as well as several other "innovative option" cars there caused a lot of hate and discontent from the other SS racers there that year I had a original T/A hood for my T/A Challenger, I think it had the hump behind the scoop entrance, it was not flat like the one in that picture I do like the looks of the flat one better
